1. Here's what I sent to Bonnie for Jan. newletter: "We’re working through Handweaving with Robert & Roberta. Ordering details from boobobay@cox.net. This is our organizational meeting. Bring your calendar to plot the dates to finish assignments and when & where to meet. Bring yarn sources. We’ll put in an order for yarns to save a few pennies. Bring your check book. Read Volume One before you come so we know where we’re headed. I’ve found the warping advice helpful already. Sharon has read ahead to more complex weaves. This is a useful reference. Reread those emails about the items that the Ayottes have for sale and we can order together if anyone is interested. If you didn’t get the emails, contact Cheryl Reed,"
What do you think? Some folks, as Dorothy says, will just be getting their books. Could we schedule a meeting for early Feb for the drawing assignment, or closer to the Jan. 18 meeting so we can move on to the weaving faster? The ordering of yarn will take time during the meeting. Maybe I can print up some order forms to help structure things a bit.
2. Dianna, did you find that sheet titled Guide for Yarns Used in Projects 1-34 in Volumes 1-4? It doesn't have a page number on it. The size and quantities are listed there. The challenge is to attach them to a project so we can choose the colors. That takes more reading. (Which I have not done.) The project number is not enough; we need to title those projects.
