I'm concerned about the edges also..the manual states..."cut off the filler about 1" beyond the selvage and begin the next color from the opposite side". OK , but how do we deal with all these 1" tails on the edge? Generally these can be doubled back, but not on this narrow warp. Any ideas?
Hi Jenny....yes, those have to be 'hidden' too. I found it easier to weave them back in as I went along. The 8/4 cotton can be split and two of the 4 strand can just be snipped off and the other two woven back in OR unravel and hide all FOUR of them between seperate warp threads...though with only 1 inch....it'll be difficult. With your next bookmark, hide them as you go...leave more than one inch...
